Every wheel we build is made to order. No two riders are the same — weight, terrain, riding style — so we don't stock mass-produced wheels off the shelf. We hand-build road, gravel, mountain and touring wheels that actually match how you ride.

Road wheels

Lightweight and responsive. Built with precision hubs and aerodynamic rim profiles for speed without sacrificing reliability on longer rides.

Gravel wheels

Stronger sidewalls, wider rims. Built to handle rough terrain and heavier loads while staying true over months of mixed riding.

Mountain bike wheels

Maximum strength and durability. Built with reinforced spoke patterns and robust hubs for impacts and sustained technical riding.

Touring wheels

Built to carry weight. Stronger than road wheels but lighter than mountain builds, with hubs that handle loaded panniers mile after mile.

We don't use whatever's cheapest. We choose components that match the job — balancing strength, weight and longevity based on your riding.

Hubs

DT Swiss — proven across road and gravel. Smooth, reliable, wide range of hub widths.

Hope Pro — our choice for mountain and heavy-load builds. Overbuilt, easy to service, excellent for downhill and rough terrain.

Rims

Mavic — road and gravel. Known for stiffness and consistent width. We use them for precision builds where ride feel matters.

DT Swiss — tough and versatile. Strong choice for gravel and touring where durability is the priority.

Spokes

DT Swiss Competition — lighter gauge for road wheels where weight matters. Still strong enough for any real-world riding.

Pillar — butted spokes for balanced strength-to-weight. A solid middle ground for gravel and touring builds.

Touring wheelset

from £220 Aluminium rims, DT Swiss hubs, durable spoke pattern. Built to carry weight.

Road wheelset

from £340 Lightweight, precision-built with DT Swiss hubs and Competition spokes. Fast and reliable.

Mountain wheelset

from £420 Hope Pro hubs, reinforced for impact. Built for technical terrain and heavy loads.

Single wheel

from £110 Any style. Price varies based on hubs and rims chosen.

What's included: Tensioning and stress relief done by hand. Truing to true vertical and lateral runout. Final ride-check spin test. Wheels are re-checked free for four weeks after delivery if anything needs a minor tweak.

Truing & repairs

We also repair and maintain wheels built anywhere.

Wheel truing

£15 per wheel. Straightens bent rims and corrects spoke tension. Usually takes 1–2 working days.

Spoke replacement

From £8 per spoke plus truing. We replace broken or bent spokes and re-tension the wheel so it stays true under load.

Wheel rebuilds

If your hubs are sound but the rim is damaged or you want a fresh build, we quote after inspection. Often cheaper than a new wheelset.

Why hand-built is worth it

Factory machines build wheels fast. They tension every spoke to the same number and call it done. But riders aren't numbers — you're heavier or lighter, you ride rocky terrain or smooth roads, you carry loads or you don't. A machine can't know that.

Hand-built wheels are tensioned individually. Each spoke gets the attention it needs based on where it sits and what loads it'll carry. Then we stress-relieve them — flex the wheel under load by hand — so the spokes settle and stay put. That's why a hand-built wheel from a proper builder stays true longer and handles real riding loads better than a factory wheel that goes out of true in weeks.
